Throughout high school, I have taken many courses. These include: World Geography, Physical Science, Computer Fundamentals, Computer, Geometry, History, Composition, Health, Biology, Algebra II, Spanish I, 2 Literature courses, and 2 English courses.

My favorite class in 9th grade was Computer Fundamentals. Some classes can be boring if you do the same thing every day and know what to expect. One of the reasons why Computer was my favorite class was because we were always doing something new and exciting. It was the class I looked forward to each day.

In 10th grade, I would have to say that my favorite class was Spanish. Being able to learn another language besides English was very interesting to me. I loved my teacher because she always knew how to get her point across while making us laugh along the way.

ATHLETICS

Since I was a 9th grader, I have been involved in many clubs and extra-curricular activities. During the 2015-2016 year I participated in Drama Club, Y-Club, FCA, and student government. Some of the activities that I participated in were: collecting canned goods for the food bank, making shoe boxes for Lottie Moon, and having dress down days to raise money for different organizations. During the 2016-2017 year, I was involved in Y-Club, FCA, student government, and NHS. I enjoyed the experience of being in each club and all of the fun we had.

Academics

I am proud to say that I have earned the Headmaster's award since middle school. This award is for having an average of 93 or higher for the year. I have struggled a few times, but have always managed to get through it somehow. In ninth grade, I was awarded top in my class for Computer Fundamentals and in tenth grade, I was awarded for having over ten hours in National Honors Society. I was also awarded third place for my app creation, Social Status, along with the rest of my team members.

Athletics

When I'm not doing homework, I am usually at practice whether it's cheerleading, tennis, or dance. I love to cheer on my wildcats during basketball season and football season. I also love going to cheer camp where my squad and I were awarded best cheer, dance, and most spirited both in 2015 and 2016. In tennis, my team made it all the way to state in 2016 and 2017. Next year, I am hoping to get a ring! In dance, I participate in the spring recital each year where I show off my dances that I've worked very hard on.

Community Service

I love helping people in my community and when I heard that our school was having a Bocee Ball Tournament for those with disabilities, I signed up right away. This was in ninth grade, so it was my first time ever doing it. I had to get up really early to help, but it was all worth it. I helped out with the games inside like bingo and go fish. We even had a little dance party! Seeing everyone smiling and having a great time made me happy.

My favorite community service this year was making sandwiches for tornado victims. Most of my class was there to help and we all had specific jobs to do. I actually went to help three times! What made is enjoyable was that everyone was communicating and trying to see who could make the most. We even had music to jam to while we were working.
